Jesu dulcis memoria           Jesus, sweet remembrance,

 耶穌       甜蜜         回憶

Dans vera cordis gaudia            Granting the heart its true joys,

 給以    真實     心         的樂趣    

Sed super mel et omnia              But above honey and all things

而且   超越   蜂蜜  及 一切所有  

Ejus dulcis præsentia.                Is His sweet presence.

他的    甜蜜           顯現

Nil canitur suavius,                      Nothing more pleasing can be sung,

沒有   唱歌         更甜

Nil auditur jucundius                   Nothing gladder can be heard

沒有 被聽見    更愉快

Nil cogitatur dulcius                   Nothing sweeter can be thought

沒有  被認為           更甜

Quam Jesus Dei filius.                Than Jesus, son of God.

比               耶穌      神   的兒子

Jesu spes pænitentibus,               Jesus, hope of the penitent,

耶穌     希望      悔罪者    

Quam pius es petentibus!            How merciful you are to those who ask,

何等     仁慈   祢是  那些請求的人   

Quam bonus te quærentibus!      How good to those who seek,

何等         奬賞       給    那些尋求的人     

Sed quid invenientibus?            But O, what you are to those who find!

而且  是什麼    那些發現的人

Nec lingua valet dicere,               Tongue has no power to describe

沒有    舌頭       有效    說

Nec littera exprimere:                 Nor writings to express

沒有    文字           表達

Expertus potest credere,            But only belief can know by experience

檢測               可能       相信

Quid sit Jesum diligere.            What it is to love Jesus.

是什麼 是    耶穌        愛

Sis Jesu nostrum gaudium       Be our joy, O Jesus,

如果你想 耶穌  我們      喜悅   
Qui es futurus præmium          Who will be the prize we win,

誰      是    成為        獎勵   
Sit nostra in te gloria                May all our glory be in you, always

是    我們       在  到    榮耀
Per cuncta semper sæcula.     And through all ages.

經      所有的     總是   永遠高於一切
